Hemostasis system for massive bleeding
TOURNIK-IT It’s a hemostasis system used to control severe and life-threatening
bleeding. It’s a simple and easy to use device especially in case of trauma to the limbs. It’s works by compressing the blood vessels at the root to the limb, reducing blood flow to the affected area, thus stopping the bleeding.
The hemostasis system can be used in extreme emergency situations, in the presence of massive bleeding; Road accidents – Gunshot or stub wounds – Serious limb injuries – Workplace accidents.
It’s important to use a TOURNIK-IT correctly and only when necessary, as improper use can cause tissue damage or aggravate the situation.
It’s essential to follow instructions and guidelines for the correct us of tourniquet and, if possible, receive specific training in the use of these devices.

TOURNIK-IT Parts
- Velcro Hemostatic Belt 38mm, with single buckle locking system. Stabilizing plate with “C” arch that blocks the bar, made of Poligopa, a high tenacity elastic polymer complex, resistant to UV. 2 sliding straps.
- X-Pander Bar: removable operating bar in Polimida, a high-toughness polymer compound, resistant to UV, anatomical ipergrip design, with slot for inserting the sliding straps. Black color.
- X-Pander Training Bar: removable traing bar in Polimida, a high-toughness polymer compound, resistant to UV, anatomical ipergrip design, with slot for inserting sliding straps. Blue colour for training.
- Pocket- sized permanent marker

In fact when its reaches its expiration date, the removable black bar can be replaced with the blue X-Pander Training Bar, trasforming the old no longer usable torniquet into a training device.
Identified and distingueshed by the blue color of the bar, conventionally associated with training devices, thus avoinding confusion with expired black operational tourniquets.
Additionally the X-Pander Training Bar can also be purchased
separately to recycle damaged or expired tourniquet, of the “C” arch type, from any manufacturer.
Once the operating old bar has removed , you can easily apply the new blue bar getting a new and distinct training torniquet.
The bar can be reused hundreds of times.
